Kishwer Merchantt And Suyyash Rai Reveal How They Reacted When Pregnancy Test Came Positive; 'For A Few Minutes, There Was Pin Drop Silence'

Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai announced their pregnancy last week. They shared an adorable picture on social media and announced that their baby will arrive in August this year. The picture sees them baby the beach with Kishwer flaunting her baby bump. At the age of 40, Kishwer has conceived a baby and couple definitely seems excited for the same. They have decided to share their pregnancy journey with fans. Recently, on Kishwer's YouTube channel they uploaded a video titled 'We Are Pregnant'.

In the video, they have spoken about a lot of things. From how they reacted to the news to mood swings, the couple has shared it all. Kishwer and Suyyash mentioned that they were not planning for this pregnancy and thus, it was a shocking surprise. "Never say never — it was so right in our case. When we had the test come positive, for a few minutes, there was pin drop silence between us. We just didn’t know how to react," she said.

Suyyash then spoke about Kishwer becoming a mother at 40. "People around us have been freezing their eggs, or opting for IVF. She conceiving naturally at 40 was a miracle. And if we have been presented with such a precious gift, there was no way we could deny it," he expressed. In the video, they also stated that they used to joke about people announcing their pregnancies in the lockdown not knowing that destiny had something similar planned for them.

In the 15-min long video, Kishwer also shared that Suyyash has become a more responsible person with the news of pregnancy. Plus, they have also decided on the name of the baby. Check out their video here:
